Mivvy one is a mid-range WinMo smartphone which costs $380

The little known Czech company called Mivvy has launched its first Windows Mobile smartphone called Mivvy one. It’s the all-touchscreen device with features that include EDGE data, WiFi, GPS, 3.2-inch 240×400 pixels display, 3-megapixel camera, FM Radio, 128 MB RAM coupled with 256 MB ROM, 624 MHz Marvell PXA300 CPU, and a microSD memory card slot. Size wise, the Mivvy one measures 105x56x12.9 mm and has a weight of 120 grams.

What’s interesting about it is the fact that Mivvy used its own UI rather than WinMo’s generic one, in an effort to make the device easier to use. It’s interesting because this usually happens with larger handset makers, and it’s good to see smaller players taking this route, too.

As for the price and release date, the Mivvy one will start selling soon in the Czech Republic, where interested folks will be able to grab it for 6699 CZK, which is about $380.
