Hope you’re reading this from some country in the Southeast Asia, as you will be pleasantly surprised. Samsung just released a treo of beautiful devices, all sporting the Touch Sensitive Keypad that responds to “just a light sweep of the fingers.” As you can guess for yourself this sounds too good to be truth. I’ve played around with few of the Samsung’s models that sport the mentioned technology, and so far I wasn’t impressed. Nothing compares with the good ol’ feedback from the keyboard. It’s just that I wasn’t sure whether or not I’ve actually pressed a key, so I kept pressing/touching on and on. Please note that it’s my subjective opinion – I know people who enjoy using the Touch Sensitive Keypad. Anyway, back to these good lookin’ babes…
The SGH-E950 prides itself with its 3.2 MP camera and its powerful multimedia features. On the other hand, the SGH-E840 is probably the best lookin’ device in the series thanks to its minimalist and futuristic 10.6mm-slim design and a glossy mirror-like surface. Samsung also promised better mobile Web experience with this device using the built int NF v3.4 browser. Finally, the SGH-J600 is a next generation of entry level devices, bringing almost too-good-to-be-true look for the low-end range. One of the common features available in all three phones is the Touch Sensitive Keypad. Unlike ordinary keypads, Touch Sensitive Keys respond to just a light sweep of the fingers, and the back-lit keys automatically illuminate in blue when you slide up the phone.

SGH-E950
While the SGH-E950 is reminiscent of the elegant design and luxurious surface material of the successful SGHE900, it features improved design and functions. Equipped with an enhanced touch-panel input method, the phone’s icons change with the function displayed in the main screen to maximize ease of use. It also adopts newly-developed graphical user interface along with more powerful multimedia features ? an enhanced music features, 3.2-megapixel camera and more efficient email and internet access, and hassle-free file downloads. Its luxurious metal-finish is something consumers will lust after.
SGH-E840
The slimmest slider in the world, SGH-E840, is a gem of a handset. With is super-thin frame of 10.6mm and astonishing mirror display, the SGH-E840 stands out on every aesthetic level and satisfies the fashion-savvy’s exquisite taste and sense of style. Hidden beneath the slider is an encased touch keypad, while the metalfinished, tempered glass exterior boasts flash and substance.
