Loopt, the BlackBerry app that lets you ‘Discover the world around you’ has recently been updated with new device support. Now you can get Loopt on the BlackBerry Bold 9700, and Curves 8530/8520. Awesome.
The update also features some new, very key enhancements including:
- Official support for OS v5
- Enhanced location accuracy, especially for Tour users
- A more efficient utilization of WiFi connections
With Loopt you can check in with friends via Facebook and Twitter… Discover great places to eat or go for a night out… Search for local businesses and events going on around you right now… Even pick up coupons from local retailers while you’re on the go. It’s all very cool, and kind of fun too.
