Good for Enterprise - iPhone

As enterprise users are turning to iPhone, Good Technology is following. The company has launched the Good for Enterprise application, providing “enterprise-class email and secure access to behind-the-firewall applications and data for iPhone.”

Among the features, Good highlights remote wipe capabilities, on-device data encryption, and the ability to manage all devices from a single, web-based management console.

The press release continues with praise of the user interface, which is “customized to be as intuitive and familiar as the desktop.” The application prioritizes tasks most important to the business user — i.e. composing email or viewing attachments — making them easily and seamlessly accessible. Secure email, calendar and contacts are all accessible from the application.

As for the pricing, Good for Enterprise is available as a free download (AppStore link), but in order to use it, you/your company must use a Good for Enterprise server and have client access license (CAL).
