AppMakr allows web-based creation of iPhone apps

AppMakrHere’s a service that will help Apple reach 200,000 apps milestone. It’s called AppMakr and it allows anyone — and I mean anyone — to create his/her own iPhone app without a single line of code. The process is completely done via web using WYSIWYG interface, allowing users to seamlessly implement a number of features in their apps.

For instance, you could easily add an RSS feed, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Blogger, music and video files. Moreover, branding could be tweaked by changing the app’s icon, splash screen, tab icons, header image and so on. Finally, if you’re planning to offer a free app, you could also insert AdMob, Medialets, DoubleClick or Google AdSense code to make some money out of advertising.

As for the pricing, there are two options available – to allow AppMakr to publish your app ($199) or to publish under you own brand ($4.99).

And before I let you go to try out the service, don’t forget to use the code “LAUNCH” which gives you $99 discount — an offer you shouldn’t refuse. 😉
