It’s always good when price drops occur, for two reasons. First, you get the device you’ve been looking for at a lower price. Second, price drops like the one I’m about to tell you about are usually a sign of new models on the not-so-distant horizon… the carrier wants to clean out the old stock for something new.

Over the weekend Bell went a little crazy with the ol’ pricing gun. Here’s what happened:

  • Palm Pre now available for free on a 3-year term
  • BlackBerry Storm 9530 available for free on a 3-year term
  • BlackBerry Bold 9700 now $50 off ($149.95 on a 3-year term)

How you like them apples? Solid for sure. If you don’t believe me hit up the links I’ve included above to check out for yourself. In typical Canadian fashion, the price breaks require a long and tenuous 3-year contract… That’s just how she goes north of the border.

Kudos to Bell for these recent discounts. Kind of makes me wonder what is coming to Bell next?… Hmmmmmmm.
