Next up on our Vancouver 2010 iPhone App journey today is the official CTV Olympics iPhone app. At the moment, it’s the #1 top free app in the sports category in Canada… and for good reason.

The app brings everything you need to know about the games as they happen. News is supplied via Canada’s official broadcasters, namely CTV, TSN, Rogers Sportsnet, RDS, V, RIS Info Sports, OLN, OMNI, APTN and ATN. Access TV schedules so you know when to watch (or when to program your PVR), pull up medal tallies and event results, tune into live play-by-play feeds, sit in on live blogs at some of the bigger events… and much more.

In a nutshell the CTV Olympics iPhone app brings everything Olympic to your iPhone, and then some. It’s easy to use, and will be a great tool to have on-hand once the games get underway.

To pick up the CTV Olympics app for free, check it out in the App Store (iTunes link).

Note: In case you missed it, check out the Cowbell 2010 App I touched on earlier.
