Verizon is continuing with its DROID app recommendation practice and this week it’s all about music. The carrier is highlighting three apps:
- iheartradio – which gives users access to over 400 radio stations across the U.S. Users can bookmark their favorite stations, view lyrics, and access exclusive performances and intimate vignettes from today’s hottest music stars.
- TuneWiki – popular free social media player that shows subtitled lyrics. The application also comes with the Playback Widget, and Facebook and Twitter integration.
- Slacker Radio – the free personalized radio service is probably the best way to discover new artists. You can create your own custom station or choose from over 100 expert-programmed radio stations from every genre.
