iVdopia brings its video ads to Android

iVdopia, the company behind mobile video advertising platform which we covered in the past, released an Android SDK to enable developers to add some video ads to their Android apps. The company had already run several campaigns on its iPhone platform, including campaigns for the likes of Coke Zero, Warner Brothers and Miller Lite.

Developers can embed pre-app or in-app videos to their apps, and there’s also the so called Talk2Me feature that allows users to interact and respond, or share ads via Twitter or Facebook. Sounds either super engaging or super dull, depending on the ad you’re watching.

And in case you think video ads would annoy users – think again. iVdopia has witnessed over 500% year-on-year growth in revenue, while their pre-app video ads for iPhone generated as much as 300% higher click-through rates (CTR) than the average CTR for online video.

Finally, if you want to see how this works in “real life,” hop over to this page for a preview of iVdopia ads on Android.
