The only successful MVNO in America is Helio and I’m honestly proud to have worked there. Sure they sell Samsung and Pantech based devices, but they also sell you the experience. I was always offered a free device, I never took one. Give up my (at the time) E61? Never!
Amp’d failed because they didn’t differentiate themselves. They had lots of ads, but why would I as a consumer go with them and not someone else?
Next Monday they will begin selling off their assets and they only have $9,000 in their checking account to call their own.
