Just when we saw Motorola’s new Linux platform (MOTOMAGX) unveiled, the American handset manufacturer is about to start promoting it to developers — along with other mobile platforms it supports. The idea behind MOTODEV Summits is to reach developers and “condense months of potential experimentation and development into one day.”

MOTODEV Summit

For developers reading IntoMobile, you may want to know the key information such as date and place. Well, here it is:

  • September 10-11, 2007 at The Fairmont Hotel, San Jose, California, USA
  • November 9, 2007 at The Brewery, London, England
  • November12, 2007 at The Westin Hotel, Financial Street, Beijing, China

The Summits are free and open to all software developers that are interested or involved in application development for any of Motorola’s devices. You got that right – it’s free, so go ahead learn something new or test your skills and bring us some cool new apps. 🙂
