We’ve first seen the Samsung S3370 back in March. Now the device has been officially announced in Russia, where the Korean company is selling it as Corby 3G. This is somewhat confusing as we always thought of the m5650 Lindy as Corby 3G.
Anyway, in addition to the 3G radio, the S3370 also comes with a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen, 1.3-megapixel camera, DNSe 2.0, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. Samsung’s very own TouchWIZ 2.0 is running the show, packing media player along with social networking apps (Facebook, Twitter and MySpace).
The Samsung Corby 3G goes on sale in Russia on May 10th, when interested users will be able to grab it for 5790 rubles which is about $190.
In related news, we caught the same device in Belgium sold as the Samsung Acton (not Action). Why Samsung is naming the same device differently in different countries is beyond me. I doubt their plan is to confuse us, but that’s the end result, nonetheless. Go figure…
