It may not carry the Apple iPad, but that doesn’t stop Verizon Wireless from adding another netbook to its offering. They did just that with the launch of the HP Mini 210-1076NR, which is available in the “Black Crystal” color for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement on a broadband plan.
Specs wise, the HP Mini 210 is “yet another Atom-powered netbook” with specs that include Windows 7 OS, 10.1-inch screen, 1.66 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB hard drive, stereo speakers, webcam, SD card reader, VGA port, WiFi, Bluetooth and the ability to connect via 3G network thanks to the embedded 3G modem.
Of course, along with the netbook, you’ll also need some mobile data plan, which start at $39.99 for 250 MB per month. Moreover, for frequent travellers, Verizon also suggest GlobalAccess plans that start at $129.99 and include 5 GB of data usage in the U.S. and Canada. There are also other international plans, as well as pay-per-use options…
