We don’t usually repeat one game for so many times. There are few exceptions and Pocket God is definitely one of them. After all, there are not that many games that have extended their life into a comic book. Moreover, I’m not aware of any other title that features “sharks with frickin’ laser beams attached to their heads.” 🙂
Anyway, Pocket Got received another update with Episode 32: Crack is Wack. It’s a free update and you’ll probably see iTunes alerting you about the new version of Pocket God (in case you’ve already bought the game, of course).
The new episode features a Canabalt-style minigame called “The Runs.” The idea here is simple, hold your finger down on the ground to make cracks appear. This, of course, will make your pygmy fall through, landing straight to hell (or something that looks like hell). Then a wave of lava comes from behind, and your native starts running for his life. Now, you should jump over the gaps and obstacles to save the little guy.
It sounds like tons of fun and I’m looking forward to give it a try as soon as I’m done working today… 😉
