Rogers & Fido Motorola RAZR gets Android 2.3.6 update
Rogers, Fido and Motorola are pushing a software update for the Motorola RAZR that will bring the device from Android 2.3.5 to 2.3.6. As you can imagine, it’s a maintenance release that will fix some of the bugs while increasing the phone’s stability and performance. Canada’s Fido to launch its LTE network?
Canada’s Rogers Wireless said it has no plans to offer LTE services through its sub-brand Fido, though things could change or are changing as we speak. When Fido employees click on the screen to activate/upgrade a customer the option of “LTE Voice and Data Sharing Bundles” pops up. Canada’s Fido to unveil a new Internet Stick Data Flex plan
Canada’s Fido will soon launch a new Internet Stick Data Flex plan, which will offer 150MB of data for $10. Naturally, more demanding will be able to upgrade to 5GB of mobile data for $35. Apparently the carrier planned to introduce this new plan back in the first quarter, but delayed the launch because of some technical issues.
