An awesome infographic comes to us today thanks to Martin Missfeldt, which shows us what’s under the hood (err, plastic casing) of Google’s mysterious Google Glass. The infographic reveals a revolutionary design, which utilizes a mini-projector to display images on the prism display. The device achieves its augmented reality layer by projecting data and images directly into a semi-transparent prism, which displays information with sharpness and clarity due to its proximity to the retina. Focus can be tweaked by moving the unit closer or further away from the eye. Optimizing Google … Read more
Samsung took the wraps off another Galaxy device this morning, the Samsung Galaxy Win. The company has yet to officially launch its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, but that’s clearly not stopping it from pumping out another one. Judging by specs, the Samsung Galaxy Win is a mid-range handset. It has a 4.7-inch display with a measly WVGA 800×480 resolution, a 5MP camera on the back with 720p HD video recording, and a regular VGA camera on the front. The inside holds a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, … Read more

I was actually pretty excited to see the new Samsung Galaxy S4. I was looking forward to the launch for most of the day yesterday. Not because I wanted Samsung to fail, which I don’t. In fact, anyone who knows me well knows my opinion of Samsung is glowing compared to what I think of RIM. I was looking forward to it because I always get excited for some fresh new high-profile smartphones. Minor or major in magnitude, they still tend to shake up the industry at least a bit. Competitors … Read more
Samsung just recently finished up taking the wraps of the Galaxy S 4, and we walked away pretty impressed. While the hardware of the new flagship handset is very powerful on its own, it seems that Samsung took a greater focus on software features this time around, and that’s fine with us. The handset looks pretty similar to the Galaxy S III, but there’s still a lot to like about the GS4. The 5 inch 1080p Super AMOLED HD display is incredibly vibrant and crisp, making it a very easy … Read more

While you won’t be able to grab of these devices, be sure you you take a good look at the Phoenix, as it’s going to be a while before we see anything else like it. This reference design rocks the NVIDIA Tegra 4i, which we’ve most recently seen it’s “i”-less brother tearing the competition to pieces in some recently released benchmarks. While the Phoenix itself isn’t for the end consumer, it certainly doesn’t mean that we don’t want one. The device shows off just what the NVIDIA Tegra 4i can … Read more
