We’ve already had some mobile search related numbers from the Mobile Marketing Association. Apparently, the mentioned figures were too optimistic. A new report from M:Metrics suggests that only about 5% of all mobile phone users in the US use mobile search. The number one reason for this low figure is a bad user experience.
Advertising Age has an interesting article on the subject titled “Not Into Mobile Search? Just Wait a Couple Years”. The author, Alice Z.
