Samsung SCH-i760, also known as Samsung Communicator, was first introduced at this year’s CES in Las Vegas. I’ve seen it briefly at 3GSM in Barcelona and instantly fell in love with it. It’s a Windows Mobile based smartphone, which just like the HTC Vox packs both numeric keypad and the full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but is more stylish looking, has a larger screen, more memory, etc. Unfortunately, it has a crappy 1.3 MP camera — c’mon Samsung, drop us some additional pixels here. 🙂
Anyway, earlier in April we saw it passing the FCC hurdle and now it’s spotted on the Verizon’s site. Hopefully, the carrier will release this business baby soon enough, as I’m dying to give it a try. Other manufacturers could also pick up this form factor — I’m certain I’m not the only one who likes it.
