SouthWing launches SH440 Bluetooth Headset exclusively in AT&T Stores

SouthWing SH440It seems like just yesterday that we were contemplating the increasingly decreasing footprints of Bluetooth headsets. In the world of headsets, smaller is better – and size does count for a lot. Enter SouthWing’s SH400 Bluetooth Headset. This diminutive, 11g, in-ear headset leads the competition with features like voice-guided device pairing, audible caller ID, audible battery life indicator, voice access to AT&T’s Services (like news, sports, weather), and the ability to save and call favorite numbers (straight from the headset). The SH440 uses SouthWing’s “Voice Menu” tech to audibly relay an incredible range of information without the need for a display. That’s a pretty trick feature – it’s like having a voice in your head, but in a good way.

SouthWing touts 10 hours of talktime and 2 weeks of standby time in this tiny little headset. But, we’re wondering how the voice-activation and voice-prompt features will affect that estimate. Still, at a $49.99 price point, this slick headset gets a thumbs up from us (maybe even two thumbs)!
