1024×768 resolution uncropped images can be found here for the first and second ad.For those who don’t want to click to see the pictures, here is what the ads say verbatim:

“Brilliant is only the beginning. Built in GPS, free world maps and a 5-megapixel camera are just the start. On top of that, we’ve left the Nokia N95 open to enhancement, experimentation and evolution so its potential is truly unlimited.”

“Comes with unlimited potential. We believe the smartest devices should keep getting smarter. That’s why we’ve left the Nokia Nseries open to enhancement, experimentation, and evolution.”

At the bottom of both pages there is a URL that points to nseries.com/open

One thing that I know will come up, who exactly will tell American consumers about this little piece of plastic called a SIM card and the fact that you don’t need to switch providers (AT&T + T-Mobile customers only) to get the N95? Is it smart to tell American consumers about the N95 8GB (if they go to the URL) when they can’t even buy it, nor will it support American 3G?

Update: Jan Chipchase (Nokia Anthropologist) has a crisper picture. He goes on to say that it isn’t that the fact that N95 is open which makes it a great product, it is that the idea that the product is open which gives it appeal. He then shows a picture of the San Francisco night line and implies that such a philosophy is what makes democracy great.
