NTT DoCoMo changes logo to new red logoJapan’s NTT DoCoMo wireless carrier has taken to freshening up its brand with a new logo. In its push to change up its look, NTT DoCoMo has rolled out its more lower-case friendly  brand-logo. According to NTT DoCoMo (or is it NTT docomo now?), the new logo will go live on July 1 to usher in its new slogan – “Unlimited Potential, in Your Hand.”

The new, red logo is supposed to communicate NTT DoCoMo’s “energy and dynamism” and “embodies DoCoMo’s commitment to achieve customer satisfaction by understanding the needs of customers and building stronger relationships with them, and to maximize the creativity of the company’s workforce and remain a leading innovator in the mobile communications industry.” That’s a mouthful, but the most important thing to take away from the new logo is that it’s easier on the eyes.
