A new service is to be added to Swisscom’s mobile TV menu – Bluewin TV mobile will available on the new DVB-H network that is being rolled out, giving a quality that is claimed to be as good as home TV sets, with customer having access to 20 channels!

Swisscom already has a pedigree in mobile multimedia apps with their “100 second news broadcast”, Napster Mobile, and the Vodafone live! portal.

DVB-H coverage in Switzerland apparently reaches 44% of the population right now, and customers in Basel, Berne, Geneva, Zurich, and Lausanne will be able to get UEFA 2008 coverage – wow, all my favourite Swiss cites, AND, my favourite football competition – I’m moving!

Bluewin TV Mobile will be on offer from 13th May, and Nokia N77 handsets will be the device customers needs to ask for.
