The ability to blog on-the-go is at once a blessing and a curse. Mobile blogging (or, moblogging, as it were) opens up so much in the way of productivity, but it also puts a kibosh on all “away from the computer” excuses. Double-edged swords like this are commonplace in the mobile space.
With the Palm Centro just announced in unlocked form for US customers, it seems appropriate that the Palm OS gets some moblogging support. The latest dagger from Cellspin brings their mobile blogging platform to Palm OS. As you may already know, Cellspin allows the user to upload audio, video, pictures, and text simultaneously to MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Pownce, Blogger, YouTube, Picasa, Flickr, Live Journal, Live Spaces and eBay. And, with Cellspin’s commitment to support more blogging platforms and social networks, Palm OS users can expect to upload their latest media to their favorite blog or social network with ease.
With Palm OS officially supported, Cellspin has the gamut of mobile operating systems covered – Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and now Palm OS. We can only hope to see an iPhone OS and Android application in the pipeline soon.
