Kingston used the CTIA to announce two new “designed for the mobile consumer” products – a 8GB Multi-Kit as well as a 4GB microSDHC card plus USB reader combination.
The 8GB Multi-Kit features an 8GB microSDHC card along with mini- and full-size SD adapters and a USB reader. The 4GB microSDHC card plus USB reader, on the other hand, comes with an USB reader, only.
Both products are covered by a lifetime warranty and Kingston’s free 24/7 technical support.
In a nutshell, nothing new here. You could grab the adapters you need separately and use SanDisk’s memory if you like. However, by bundling the memory with the adapters, Kingston could put the price down.
