With CTIA San Francisco 2008 wrapped up and done for another year, IntoMobile is headed back to Los Angeles for some much needed rest.
We’re still working to get some video footage edited in post-production and posted the the front page for all you readers to enjoy, so keep your eyes peeled. But as we board our flight, let’s recap CTIA San Francisco 2008.
The Fall CTIA show is geared more towards new wireless services than the hardware offerings that really get our juices flowing. But we expected a lot more “bang” for our convention-show-buck. From the tiny showroom floors, forgettable booth experiences, to the somewhat lackluster press events, CTIA 2008 failed to live up to it’s reputation.
We had hoped to see more innovative services alongside the handsets and other hardware that we tend to focus upon. Alas, the exhibitor presence was weak, mobile servicea were boring, and the apre-show life was disappointing.
Still, we rolled out a brand new side of IntoMobile that we hope you all enjoyed. We’re talking, of course, about our video coverage of the event. From handsets to applications to accessories, we were running around to cover the show in as much depth as possible. We hope you enjoyed watching the videos as much as we enjoyed making them.
We’ll be bringing you more video content going forward so keep checking our Blip channel at Blip.tv/IntoMobile.
