Sure, we’d love to be able to put one of those swanky LG Prada Link bluetooth watches on our wrist, but with the economy (and our wallets) being what they are, we’re not going to be sporting anything with a “Prada” label anytme soon. Still, fashionable Windows Mobile users, with the wherewithal to actually buy a Prada Link, will be happy to hear that the Windows Mobile application “smartWatchM” has been updated to work with their stylish bluetooth watch.
Windows Mobile developer “moneytoo” over at xda-developers has announced an update to his smartWatchM application that allows Windows Mobile smartphones to work with the LG Prada Link Bluetooth Watch (as well as Sony Ericsson and Fossil’s bluetooth watch lineup). For now, the smartWatchM application works with all Prada Link functions like caller ID, time sync, call history, and message notifications . But, moneytoo promises to introduce even more functionality to the Prada Link. Expect the smartWatchM application to enable features like weather updates and to-do lists in the near future.
In the meantime, we’ll set our sights on LG’s decidedly more functional (and likely more affordable) Touch Watch Phone.
