Punxsutawney Phil, the famous groundhog, will be spreading its winter forecast via SMS. In order to receive a text message with information whether we’re get stuck with six more weeks of winter or not, you’ll need to opt-in by sending “Groundhog” to the SMS short-code 247365 before February 2nd.
The service is organized by the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club, which has all the details about it on its website — along with content on Phil… And now it’s all about hoping that Phil doesn’t see his shadow. Keeping your fingers crossed can’t harm anyone. 😉
