Everyone apparently wants an Apple iPad. But, if you’re still eying one of Apple’s tablets, you may be stuck waiting in line at an Apple store this weekend to pick one up in person. Apple has announced that pre-order sales of their iPad have sold out for the device’s launch-day on Saturday April 3, following initial pre-sale performance that made headlines. As it stands, any pre-orders that are submitted as of today will not be shipped out until April 12th, at the earliest. It’s not clear how many tablets have already been committed for launch day shipments, but it seems that Cupertino has already burned through their iPad pre-sale allotment. To make matters worse, Apple is no longer allowing customers to reserve a time to pick up one of the tablet devices on launch day.
We’ll be hitting the streets to check out the Apple iPad madness later this week on our live-cast of the iPad launch, so be sure to keep checking back on IntoMobile to see the iPad go live!
