GameFly debuted their App for the iPhone & iPod Touch last October, which allows its users to check on the latest cheats, news, user reviews, release dates, and videos of over 7,000 video games. The thing that was lacking from the App was the ability to manage your GameQ to browse, add, delete, and share your games, although the latest GameCenter 1.2 update will finally support this. GameCenter 1.2 also includes an updated user interface and more personalization.
“We are big fans of games and know how important it is to have access to the latest news, high-quality trailers and screenshots for your favorite games. GameCenter brings all this and more straight to the iPhone and iPod touch, so gamers can access and share the game content they want, when and wherever they want for free,” said Sean Spector, GameFly co-founder and SVP of business development and content. “We listened to our users’ feedback and GameCenter 1.2, with its host of new features, offers an improved mobile game-related experience.”
If you’re a user of the GameFly service, then this is something you’ve definitely been looking forward to. Being able to manage your GameQ while on-the-go is something I feel should have been the main reason this App even exists, but it’s good to hear the new GameCenter 1.2 will finally support it.
