The iPad gets naked, thanks to the FCC

The Federal Communications Commission has gone ahead and posted the guts of Apple’s iPad and the eagle-eyed wonders at iFixit are doing their best to break it down.

While there won’t be a thorough breakdown of the iPad’s components until the tablet is in the streets, there are a few interesting tidbits we can discern from the posted pics. The iFixit folks say the iPad uses the same battery as the iPhone 3G and 3GS and the WiFi and Bluetooth are integrated into a single chip board. The FCC has covered up a few of the components, so look for a complete tear-down to hit the Interwebs in the next few days.
