Have you heard about Pocket Informant? You should and not only because we covered it on IntoMobile for few times in the past — it used to be one of the most popular PIM (Personal Information Manager) apps for Windows Mobile. Later on it was ported to the iPhone, and now WebIS (the company behind the product) is looking to bring it to the iPad.
In the first phase, they’ll simply make sure that the existing iPhone version sings along Apple’s tablet. The next obvious step is to make sure that larger screen is properly used. I would expect to see new features (when compared to the iPhone app) as well as a number of shortcuts included — all which should make using Pocket Informant on the iPad a comfortable experience.
It’s not an easy task to make a solid UI, so I wouldn’t expect WebIS to rush with the release. Sometimes it’s better to wait and get a better product, don’t you think?
