Bulgaria. What images does that country bring to mind? Endless varieties of meat, traditional Eastern European values, sexy women, Slivovitz … but what about terrible fate due to having a certain mobile phone number? For some odd reason, anyone who gets the phone number 0888 888 888 dies rather quickly. The first owner, Vladimir Grashnov, died of cancer in 2001 at the relatively young age of 48. Then Konstantin Dimitrov, a mafia boss, was killed in 2003 at the age of 31. He was shot and killed while eating dinner with a model. Two years later it would be Konstantin Dishliev, again gunned down while eating. Since then the number has been put out of use, deemed bad luck.
