Capture “World Cup Fever” With GAMEVIL’s Soccer Superstars for the iPhone

It looks like GAMEVIL has added a new member to their “Superstars” family of sports games with the release of Soccer Superstars. If you’re familiar with Baseball Superstars, then you’ll feel right at home with their latest title.

Soccer Superstars is an arcade-type Soccer game with RPG elements as you can manage your individual player’s skills, performance and attributes. You can further customize your players by changing their name, clothes, and appearance. The art style is similar to Baseball Superstars, which offered anime-style art. The game includes five different game modes to play: Exhibition, My League, Season Mode, Cup Mode and Dramatic Mode.

With the 2010 FIFA World Cup taking place soon, this would be the perfect game for soccer (or football) fans who can easily pick up and play a solid game without it feeling too much like a simulation.  Even though there’s a lot of RPG elements to it, casual players can take advantage of the Exhibition Mode to grab a quick game of soccer at their leisure.
