Following up on the handset announcement yesterday, Motorola is showing off two accessories that will go with their new Android handset, the Droid X. As you can see, we’ve got a pretty sharp-looking HDMI/charging/sync dock, as well as a car mount.
Due to launch July 15 on Verizon for $199 on contract, the Droid X is a pretty danged impressive handset; it’s got a 1GHz processor, HDMI-out, 8 megapixel camera with flash and HD 720p video recording, 8 GB of internal memory, 4.3″ touchscreen with multitouch support, and will be shipping with Android 2.1, with an update to 2.2 following shortly thereafter. Take a look at our hands-on HD video of the Motorola Droid X for the full tour, and while you’re at it, check out their launch video for a good laugh.
There’s no mention of price or availability mentioned for the dock or car mount, but odds are good these will both be ready for the Droid X launch later this summer.Sign up for more info on the car mount here and the HDMI dock here.
