Remember the screen shot that hinted at iWork for the iPhone that was promptly replaced by Apple just a few weeks ago? If that wasn’t enough to convince you that iWork is really going to hit Apple’s beloved smartphone, perhaps the screen shot above should do just the trick. But don’t go digging through the Apple website to try and find the hidden gem yourself – it only appears on some international online stores, such as Canada and Australia.

When ordering unlocked iPhones through Apple’s online stores in these countries, customers are presented with the option of adding AppleCare to their orders. Clicking the “Learn more” link for AppleCare on the ordering page reveals additional information on the program, with a section devoted to software support specifically mentioning “Using iWork for iPhone and other Apple-branded iPhone apps” as a topic for which users can receive assistance.
One would have to assume that it’s only a matter of time before the iWork suite hits the iPhone. I’d also like to think that it would be easily affordable given its low cost for the iPad version – perhaps even less due to smaller screen real estate? One can hope, right?
