Let’s face it, Cincinnati Bell isn’t exactly known as a high-end smartphone carrier. To be fair, we’ve heard rumors the MOTOROI could hit the operator’s offering and it’s also worth noting they were the first company in the U.S. to offer the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
All that said, we were not surprised to learn they’ve added the Samsung Behold II in their portfolio. The device that just recently got the Android 1.6 update is not exactly something we would recommend to our dear readers. But, if you’re stuck with Cincinnati Bell, I guess there are no much choices out there for ya.
As you know, the Behold II comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA AMOLED touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS, 1500 mAh battery, microSD memory card slot and so on.
Its price is kinda steep (because it doesn’t run Android 2.1). Cincinnati Bell asks $129.99 for the device and that’s with a two-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate. No contract price is $100 more, again with the mentioned rebate…
