Firemint's highly popular flight controlling game

Just as we expected, Namco Networks is bringing Firemint’s highly popular Flight Control game to more mobile phone users. The original iPhone title is one of the best-selling games in the AppStore, so we were not surprised when we’ve heard Namco wants to port it to other mobile platforms. And that’s exactly what they did, hence Flight Control is now available for users with Windows Mobile, Brew and Java ME enabled mobile phones, across all major U.S. carriers and elsewhere.

If you own the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad – you probably already know what’s Flight Control all about. For those of you haven’t heard about it, here’s the drill (from the press release):

In the action-packed title, players must guide planes, jets and helicopters safely to their landing zones. Flight Control is incredibly easy to play-just select an aircraft and direct it to its landing zone. As time passes, more aircraft start to fill the friendly skies, making Flight Control a game of strategy that will provide endless hours of frantic fun. It is up to the player to alter the aircraft’s flight path as needed to avoid mid-air collisions. With up to five different airfields and 10 types of aircraft, the addictive airline action continues as long as players bring every flight home safe and sound.

If that sounds kinda boring, you’re wrong… trust me on this one. It’s super addictive, and you’ll love it! 🙂
