Motorola Droid Cursed with Windows Mobile 6.5 in This Knockoff

Perhaps the best thing that could have ever happened to Windows Mobile 6.5 was to land on a device as cool as the Motorola Droid. On that same token, the worst thing that could happen to a Motorola Droid is to be graced with the hideousness of WinMo 6.5. Well, a Chinese manufacturer did just that with the two, blending it into some unwieldy beast like Dr. Mephisto of South Park would with poor little animals.

However, this little knockoff does have some impressive specs:

  • Network: GSM 900//1800MHz (dual SIM)
  • Screen Size: 3.5″ hi-definition touchscreen (800 X 480 pixels)
  • Dimensions: 115.8mm x 60mm x 13.8mm
  • Camera: 3MP autofocus
  • OS: Windows Mobile 6.5
  • CPU: 533MHz Huawei’s Hass K3 CPU
  • Memory: 256M/256M bundled (TF card support)
  • Other features: GPS, Wi-Fi, and FM

Still, you’re getting Windows Mobile 6.5. It makes me shudder just thinking about it, but I suppose you really could do worse. And as far as look-a-likes go, I’m a little impressed by how this thing looks in pictures.
