I’m not sure I fully understand Samsung’s strategy. Sure their own domestic market is very important, but let’s face it – there are larger (actually much larger) markets out there. That said, I was surprised to learn that in addition to the recently mentioned Snow White model, the electronics giant is launching yet another Korea-only color version of the Galaxy S smartphone – pink.
Don’t get me wrong – I think respecting its domestic user base is a great move by Samsung, but don’t they want to move a bunch (and by bunch I mean millions) of Galaxy S units worldwide? And since specs-wise we’re talking about the perfect device, the only thing that’s missing are multiple color options. So what’s happening here folks? Anyone has a slightest idea? I mean if I were at Samsung I would make sure my hottest selling smartphone is available in any color you can imagine even if that means putting Colorware out of business (out least for products I make). Go figure… 😉
