Telmap announced a version of its popular white-label navigation app, Telmap Navigator, for yet another platform – webOS. The application works with the Palm Pre and Palm Pre Plus devices and is initially released for the O2 customers in Germany, who can download it [application] free of charge.

As you may know from some of our previous posts on Telmap Navigator, it’s an all-in-one solution that includes both in-car and pedestrian navigation, as well as local search and content (Lonely Planet included). In addition, it comes with voice and text instructions announcing street names, live traffic alerts with alternative route options and a huge database of Points of Interests (POI) information such as gas stations and parking lots along the way. Moreover, there’s the ability to download the full route corridor at the beginning of the navigation session, enabling seamless re-routing when necessary with no need to re-connect to the server.

O2 Germany customers can download Telmap Navigator for their Palm Pre (Plus) devices from this page on Palm’s website.
