Gameloft announced that it has sold over 20 million paid games since the AppStore opened in July 2008. The gaming company has developed and published 100 games so far, including 18 iPhone and 29 iPad games since January 2010. Of all the titles launched this year (that’s 47 in total), 42 climbed to the top 5 best-selling games on the AppStore with 25 of them reaching the number one spot. Among the top-selling titles this year we find such games as Let’s Golf! 2, Let’s Golf! HD, Iron Man 2, Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front and N.O.V.A. Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance.

Of course, Gameloft has no plan to stop bringing new stuff to the iCommunity. Until this year ends, 15 other titles will be added to the AppStore, including NFL 2011 HD, Assassin’s Creed: Altaïr’s Chronicles HD, Spider-Man: Total Mayhem HD, Dungeon Hunter 2, Gangstar: Miami Vindication, Star Battalion and Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.

All in all, Gameloft is clearly one of those companies benefiting from the super success of Apple’s mobile devices, both the iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad…
