Springpad, that other (not Evernote) note-taking tool which we’ve already covered in the past, updated its iOS and Android apps with few cool features. Here’s what they got:
- Mobile Alerts – this feature automatically notifies you on your mobile device about what you’ve saved, including tasks, events, price drops, coupons, offers, local deals, breaking news and more.
- Instant Push to Android phones – allows you to send a notification to your Android phone from the web app or the Chrome extension for direct access on your phone’s homescreen. Very handy, especially for those of you/us rushing on an important meeting.
- Ad hoc reminders – super fast way for NOT forgetting important things in your life.
In addition, Springpad has also launched the Chrome Browser Extension, allowing users to quickly save information while browsing the web.
If you remember, Springpad wants to make sense of your notes and will recognize various products, lists, tasks, etc. and put them in the right context (or so they claim). You can check how it works from a video below.
