Although we haven’t covered Whiteboard HD when it was initially released, we though now’s is just the right time to give it some space on IntoMobile. The productivity app is touted as the “powerful visualization, collaboration and learning tool for the iPad,” basically bringing the whiteboard “functionality” to Apple’s tablet computer.
It’s not like Draft which is in 37signals’ manner is super-easy to use yet intentionally lacks features. Whiteboard HD offers more and is thus not only a “designer’s thing,” but also a tool for corporate boardrooms and work groups, educational institutions, sports organizations, broadcasting studios and others.
There are few new things included in this release, including support for a new sharable filetype that enables users to send fully editable boards to other Whiteboard users. In addition, images can now be imported or exported to the native Photo Library, Dropbox or Box.net accounts as PDFs or photos. Finally, issues regarding VGA output to external displays have also been completely resolved.
As a big fan of whiteboards (especially for brainstorming sessions) I can’t nothing but suggest you downloading Whiteboard HD. The AppStore link is below…
