Good news for our readers from Sweden as the local branch of Telenor has started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The carrier is offering the Android-powered tablet for free with its Surfa Bass plan that costs 369 SEK (55 USD) per month with a two-year contract. In total, this drives the price of ownership of the Tab to 8856 SEK (1320 USD), but you do get all that data for the duration of the contract.
There are other plan options available as well, for those of you/us who don’t like big monthly bills.
In terms of availability, Telenor’s website suggests the Galaxy Tab will start shipping within 1-3 weeks, which means Samsung’s baby could hit Sweden before UK.
