The good folks at Discovery Communications dropped me a note a little earlier letting me in on some solid news. They’ve launched an iPad optimized version of Discovery Education, available right now at mobile.discoveryeducation.com.
It’s solid news for sure, but what does it mean? I’ll tell you.
Discovery Education services (now accessible via the iPad) make it easy for students and teachers to access more than 33,000 videos from Discovery’s content library and other educational publishers. Other key features in this update include:
- a new, powerful browse function
- an upgraded search function
- a new UI optimized for touch interface
The new iPad optimized service is available right now to all Discovery Education subscribers… and as time goes on, Discovery will continue to update the service with more audio, PDF’s, images, videos and all sorts of superb educational content.
*tip of the cap* to Discovery yet again. For more information feel free to check out the press release after the jump, or hit up Discovery Education.
