Sling Media is riding the Windows Phone 7 wave, announcing that its SlingPlayer Mobile is now available for download from Windows Marketplace Mobile.
You know the drill, right? You need a Slingbox SOLO or Slingbox PRO-HD connected to the Internet and then you will be able to watch your home TV on a smartphone. Moreover, you can use your Windows Phone 7 device as a remote control to change channels, control DVR and watch favorite shows while on the go.
Price wise, SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Phone 7 is available for $29.99, which is kinda steep though not that much for heavy TV addicts.
Commenting on the new app launch, Sling Media’s Executive VP of Products, John M. Paul, said: “The big story about SlingPlayer Mobile on Windows Phone 7 is the quality of the user experience. From the fully revamped user interface to the clear, sharp video images, customers are going to thoroughly enjoy watching TV on their Windows Phone 7 handsets.”
