If you’re a MobileMe customer, you’ll be happy to know that Steve Jobs himself is allegedly promising that it will get “a lot better in 2011.”
A MacRumors reader supposedly sent the Apple CEO some e-mails complaining about some of the usability problems and asked if the service will be improving in 2011.
“Yes, it will get a lot better in 2011,” Jobs allegedly responded.
This is the typical terse and brief e-mail response we expect from Jobs. It was also quite vague, so we don’t know what to expect.
If you don’t know, MobileMe is a $99-a-year service which makes it easier for Apple products users to sync and share their content – this includes photos, calendars, documents and more. Until recently, one of the major features was the ability to locate your iOS device via GPS and WiFi tracking but that became free with iOS 4.2.
So, in a world full of free or cheap cloud-sharing tools like Dropbox, Google Docs and more, what could Apple add to MobileMe to make it a killer feature that stands out from the crowd? Let us know what you would like to add to the service in the comments.
