IK Multimedia keeps expanding its line-up of music software and accessories for the iOS device users. Their latest product is iRig Mic and it’s the first handheld quality condenser microphone for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad that is designed for all vocal and mobile sound needs.

Featuring a highly unidirectional electret-condenser microphone capsule, iRig Mic is touted as an ideal product for the singer, vocalist and songwriter on the move, but also perfect for recording speeches, instruments, performances or any other sound sources in the studio, on stage or in the field. It can provide quality recording, in both close mic and long distance mic conditions, and real-time monitoring with its dual mini-jack connector. And thanks to the three-level gain switch, any sound pressure condition is instantly adjustable, from soft speaking to loud playing.

Aside from the hardware component, IK Multimedia also prepared VocaLive app, which is a new real time effects processor app suite for the singer and vocalist; iRig Recorder, audio recording app; and AmpliTube Free, the best selling app for guitar players and songwriters.
