If you’re not feeling the Vibrant with Android 2.1, perhaps the Samsung Galaxy S 4G is more your taste. It will support T-Mobile’s speedy HSPA+ network and it will be running Android 2.2 Froyo. What isn’t to love if you don’t mind the plasticky feeling of Samsung handsets?
If the image above is to be believed – as it looks like it could’ve been produced by any old Joe with a printer – it will be heading to Wal-mart for just $148.88 with a two-year contract. It’s a bit of an odd price point, but if other retailers are selling it for, say, $149.99, Wal-mart can claim to have them beat. With T-Mobile’s FlexPay option, it looks like the Galaxy S 4G will cost you $248.88, and $650 outright.
So, who’s ready to pick one of these bad boys up? Or are you already sporting a Vibrant or perhaps even a Nexus S and could care less about this phone? Is 4G HSPA+ a big enough deal to spring for this thing?
