Tello lets iPhone users rate customer service while on-the-go

Touted as the “real-time customer service rating system,” Tello allows customers to comment and rate their customer service experiences. The mobile application syncs to the web service and is available for the iPhone, while folks with other phones can access Tello via mobile web.

Available as a free download, Tello makes it super easy for customers to criticize the service they’re getting. You can use the application to find nearby businesses using the iPhone’s built-in GPS receiver. If for some reason a business is not on the list, you can simply add it to Tello via the app.

Let’s say you’ve found a place you’re currently in, now pick an existing employee (or add a new one) and give him or her thumbs-up or down. You can also include a short comment about the experience, and eventually share your two cents via Facebook and/or Twitter if you fancy so.

I’m all for customer empowerment that should help clear the market from bad service. With apps like Tello, all of us can help create a better world…
